As described in this Wired Article, The American Society of Civil Engineers grades the USA out at a D+.  This is troubling for many obvious reasons from safety to development.  Sure, great minds and engineers can come together and act locally, but what we really need is the proper government investment which Americans have not seen in many decades.  Europeans will know that solid transportation networks can truly transform a city.  Let’s trade in the congested highways carving up our cities from some solid bus and subway systems.
