Asco Valve Optional Features Prefix and Suffix

Asco valves carries a very diverse product line.  Their solenoid valves are extremely customizable, and many of my customers call me and ask, “What does the EF or the HW mean in my valve’s part number?”  The product literature lists the valve’s base number only (for example, 8210G088) and will not have any information about its Optional Features.  For that, you must look to the above guide.  The most popular features that I receive in RFQ’s are

EF= Explosion Proof

U= Universal.  Can be normally open and normally closed

MO = Includes a Manual Operator

HW = Hot Water

X – Special.  Please supply the 5-digit TPL number on the valve’s face plate
