Description

The Allen-Bradley 1756-A7 is a 7-slot chassis designed for the ControlLogix® platform, providing the physical framework for system modules and facilitating high-speed communication via its backplane. It supports horizontal panel mounting and is compatible with various 1756 power supplies, which mount directly onto the left end of the chassis. The chassis distributes power to each installed module through the backplane, ensuring efficient operation. It has a maximum backplane current capacity of 1.5 A at 1.2V DC, 4 A at 3.3V DC, 15 A at 5.1V DC, and 2.8 A at 24V DC. The 1756-A7 is designed for convection cooling and operates within a temperature range of 0 to 60°C (32 to 140°F). Its compact dimensions (approximately 20 x 24 x 8 inches) make it suitable for various industrial applications.
