Allen Bradley 1756-CNB ControlLogix ControlNet Bridge Module

Description

The Allen-Bradley 1756-CNB is a ControlNet bridge module designed for the ControlLogix platform, facilitating high-speed data transfer between ControlLogix controllers and other devices over a ControlNet network. It supports up to 64 connections, with a recommendation to utilize only 40 to 48 for Logix communications to maintain optimal performance.

This module features a single ControlNet BNC interface for network connectivity and is compatible with various ControlLogix chassis configurations. It is important to note that the 1756-CNB module is scheduled for discontinuation by Rockwell Automation as of December 31, 2024. Customers are advised to consider the 1756-CN2 module as a replacement, which offers enhanced capabilities and improved performance.
