The Allen-Bradley 20-COMM-E is an EtherNet/IP communication adapter designed to integrate PowerFlex drives into Ethernet networks, facilitating seamless connectivity and control within industrial automation systems. It supports various Ethernet speeds, including 10 Mbps and 100 Mbps, in both full and half-duplex modes, ensuring compatibility with diverse network configurations. The adapter can handle up to 30 TCP connections or 16 simultaneous CIP connections, including one exclusive-owner I/O connection, providing robust communication capabilities for complex applications. Its compact design allows for easy installation into the drive’s communication slot, and it is compatible with PowerFlex 7-Class drives. Operating within a temperature range of -10 to 50°C (14 to 122°F) and a relative humidity of 5 to 95% non-condensing, the 20-COMM-E is suitable for various industrial environments.
