Description

The Fireye EP160 is a programmer module designed for integration with the FLAME-MONITOR Burner Management Control System, specifically models E100 and E110. It manages burner sequencing, ignition processes, and flame monitoring to ensure safe and efficient operation of combustion systems. Key features of the EP160 include a 30-second purge period, 10-second Pilot Trial for Ignition (PTFI), 10-second Main Trial for Ignition (MTFI), and a Flame Failure Response Time (FFRT) of 4 seconds. The module is equipped with six dip switches that allow customization of operational parameters, such as extended purge timing and forced blower motor start delay, to meet specific application requirements. Its plug-in design facilitates straightforward installation and replacement within the control system. The EP160 also supports communication with remote alpha-numeric displays like the ED510, providing real-time operational data and diagnostics to enhance system monitoring and maintenance.
