The Honeywell R7861A1026 is a solid-state, plug-in ultraviolet (UV) flame amplifier designed for integration with Honeywell’s 7800 Series relay modules. It processes inputs from compatible UV flame sensors, such as the C7061, to accurately detect the presence of a flame in combustion systems. The amplifier features a dynamic self-checking capability, continuously monitoring both the detector and electronic components to ensure system integrity. In the event of a system failure, the connected 7800 Series relay module initiates a safety shutdown to prevent hazardous conditions. The R7861A1026 offers a flame failure response time (FFRT) of either 2.0 or 3.0 seconds, providing flexibility to meet specific safety requirements. It also includes test jacks for measuring flame signal strength, which ranges from 0.0 to 5.0 Vdc, facilitating straightforward diagnostics and maintenance. The amplifier’s color-coded label (purple) ensures easy identification and compatibility verification during installation.
