Description

The Siemens SKD62U is an electro-hydraulic valve actuator designed for precise proportional control in HVAC and industrial applications. Operating on a 24 VAC power supply, it accepts control signals of 0 to 10 VDC or 4 to 20 mA, facilitating seamless integration with various control systems. The actuator delivers a positioning force of 1,000 N (approximately 225 lb-in) and features a 20 mm (3/4 inch) stroke, suitable for modulating control of valves with compatible stroke lengths. Equipped with a spring return mechanism, the SKD62U ensures the valve returns to its default position during power failures, enhancing system safety. Its die-cast aluminum housing provides durability, and the manual override feature allows for manual positioning during setup or maintenance. The actuator operates within an ambient temperature range of -15 to 50°C and is designed for upright to horizontal mounting positions. It is commonly used with Siemens Flowrite 599 Series valves and can be adapted to other valves with appropriate retrofit kits.
