The Weed Instrument EOTec 2000 2E07 is an Optical Interface Module (OIM) designed to facilitate fiber optic communication within industrial networks. Operating at an 850nm wavelength, it supports multimode fiber connections via ST-compatible ports, ensuring compatibility with standard fiber optic systems. The module accommodates data rates ranging from 9.6 Kbps to 12 Mbps, making it suitable for various communication protocols. Its optical dynamic range is 21dB when utilizing 200/230 µm fiber and 12dB with 62.5/125 µm fiber, allowing for flexible deployment based on specific network requirements. Designed for durability, the 2E07 operates within a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C and mounts easily on a 35mm DIN rail, facilitating integration into existing industrial setups.
